Great location attached to Scotia Square for shopping or eating plus all the downtown places to go.
The central location is perfect for exploring downtown. The valet parking is very convenient. Parking downtown is not easy.
Convenient, Downtown, connected to all adjacent places I had to go by the pedway system.
Great location and value. Tempo is a fabulous restaurant within the hotel.
Very clean, quiet, and timely check in-out process. We called down to reception to have our car ready when we checked out and it was waiting when we arrived.
Excellent front desk service, room are a bit outdated but they are very clean and bed very comfortable.
Perfect downtown location especially in the winter being connected to the pedways.
Great place for a quick family get away! Kids love the pool and Tempo was amazing.
It's close to all the things We want to do in Halifax , You can use the pedway and stay inside on cold winter days! They have a great staff which makes the stay easy.The only thinig I can say negative about the stay was the bus noise at 6am as our room was at the front above the bus stop.

An EXCELLENT value for money. Right in the center of things downtown or a quick stumble from Scotibank place if u happen to be in town for a function then. Pool. A sauna. Pool showers and change rooms. Very clean, beds comfortable. Even fully stocked fitness room adjacent to changing room/pool area with treadmills, bike/rowing cycles, weight machine. Parking is just across street above mall, at $22 a day (not owned by hotel) but worth not worrying about auto being vandalized on street. A liitle challenging to find way from park garage to Hotel at first, but if this challenges you, valet are happy to do it for you. Definitely my first choice is I find myself in Metro again. Be sure and leave staff a tip. They really did their job cleaning. If money isn't tight, the room service menu is quite good and serves all 3 meals a day. Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen for a nice weekend getaway. And if Casino Halifax is on your mind, it's completely indoor walk to their place via the many pedways - rain or shine. About six minute walk.
The braekfast was very good for the price. The location was very central
To be honest, we loved everything. We were there for funeral arrangements for my father in-law who had just past. The room was perfect, the staff went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. From cleaning our room in the middle of the night because my grand daughter was sick, and then again a couple of days later when my daughter was sick. Our vehicle was taken care of upon arrival, and at the door in minutes upon request. Tempo's food was amazing and the staff superb. Gaetan, who we got to know very well, went above and beyond our expectations. We now have the pleasure to call him a friend. We want to thank you for from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay brighter during difficult times. The Laplante-Gaul family <3
The staff were great. The room and bed was so comfortable. The location was perfect. The pedway was so convenient for getting around.
This was our first time staying in this hotel, it's a lovely old building. Our room was nice and big with a seating area and lots of space. Check-in was smooth, room was very clean, our bed was very comfortable. We also had a great rate for booking last minute, definitely great value for the money. Location was perfect, we were at an event only 2 blocks away. Great night!

The staff are dedicated to making the stay as comfortable and as perfect for the guest as possible. It is easily apparent that they are all very competent at their jobs as well as being a very cohesive team. I felt that every effort was made by all of them for us to have a great time. I have stayed there once before, and I will certainly stay there again.
